The Dimitriadis story
From the beach to the mountain.
Dimitriadis began with a love of nature and a clear ambition: to help more people in Greece spend time outdoors. The first chapter was written in 1982, when the family opened a specialist shop in Nea Filadelfeia and helped turn camping by the Greek coast into a better-equipped way of life.
As that outdoor culture grew, so did the range of places and pursuits Dimitriadis served — from sea sports, kayaking and diving to hiking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding. Behind the equipment was always a trained team able to match people with the right kit for the way they wanted to move outside.

1982
The first store
The first Dimitriadis shop opens in Nea Filadelfeia, specialising in summer outdoor equipment and bringing a new generation closer to camping, the coast and life outside.

1989
A second base
A second store opens in Argyroupoli. Dimitriadis also starts developing its own outdoor products and a portfolio of exclusive international brand partnerships.

1993
International names arrive
Vaude and Coleman join the distribution catalogue, marking an early step from specialist retailer to long-term partner for international outdoor brands in Greece.
1999
Into the snow
Dimitriadis opens in Arachova and establishes the first ski-equipment rental shop at Parnassos Ski Resort — taking its specialist knowledge directly to the mountain.

2007
A Greek first
dimitriadis.gr launches as Greece’s first e-shop dedicated to outdoor equipment, extending specialist advice and a considered range beyond the stores.

Rossignol Group
Dimitriadis becomes the exclusive Greek distributor for Rossignol Group, bringing Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange and Look together under one partnership.

2017–2019
Wholesale, accelerated
The wholesale network expands rapidly as major outdoor, mountain and lifestyle names — including Helly Hansen, La Sportiva, Buff, Marmot, Petzl, Musto and CMP — join the portfolio.

A new city presence
A new Dimitriadis store opens inside ATTICA City Link, carrying decades of outdoor knowledge into the centre of Athens.
