Polarbox comes from Polisur, a Spanish plastics manufacturer that's been perfecting its craft in Andalusia since 1984.
When the company turned that expertise toward a portable cooler, it skipped the usual rugged, utilitarian look entirely — building instead a retro-vintage design in candy colours, finished with a genuine leather strap. The gamble paid off: in just a few years Polarbox has become the cooler people actually want to be seen with, now sold in well over a hundred countries.
The design has since been picked up by lifestyle and homeware retailers well outside the usual outdoor and camping channel — proof the product travels beyond its original category.
Designed differently
A cooler that keeps its cool — and its looks.
Everything that makes a Polarbox work is hidden inside a shape people keep on the shelf rather than in the garage.
Retro design, candy colours
A vintage silhouette finished with a genuine leather strap — the cooler that earns a place in the photo, not the boot of the car.
Interchangeable handles
Swap the strap to match the mood, the bag or the table. The same box, dressed differently every summer.
A closure that holds
The lid seals firmly and stays shut in transit, so the cold stays inside and nothing travels loose.
Airpop insulation
An insulating Airpop core keeps the temperature steady for hours — the afternoon lasts longer than the ice usually does.
Light enough to carry
The 6L weighs around 1kg and the 12L around 1.3kg, so a full box still walks down to the beach comfortably.
Three sizes
6L for eight cans, 12L for eighteen, 20L for thirty — from a lunch for two to a weekend for the whole table.
The range
One shape, a whole palette.

Made in Spain
Made in Andalusia. Carried just about everywhere.
Polarbox was launched in 2021 by Polisur, a Spanish plastics manufacturer working in Andalusia since 1984. Every cooler is still produced in Spain, in the company's own factory — and from there it has travelled into more than 120 countries, reaching lifestyle and homeware shelves far beyond the traditional camping aisle.

We take care of what matters
Made under the same sun that powers it.
- 01
Powered by the sun
Production runs on solar energy generated at the company's own facilities in southern Spain.
- 02
A smaller footprint
Manufacturing close to home keeps transport short and the environmental cost of every cooler lower.
- 03
Cleaner production
Processes are chosen to reduce waste and emissions, not just to hit the lowest possible cost.
- 04
Built to keep
A cooler you want to keep for years is the most straightforward kind of sustainability there is.
