Rossignol
Rossignol began in 1907 when carpenter Abel Rossignol carved his first pair of skis in Voiron, going on to outfit Olympic champions and become the oldest surviving name in skiing.

Few names shape a winter season the way this one does. Rossignol Group sits at number one in skis worldwide, and among the top three in ski boots through the combined craft of Rossignol and Lange. From the workshops of the Alps, its equipment now reaches skiers in 52 countries.
Vision
Three brands, one roof

1907 · Voiron, France
Rossignol began in 1907 when carpenter Abel Rossignol carved his first pair of skis in Voiron, going on to outfit Olympic champions and become the oldest surviving name in skiing.

1963 · Sallanches, France
Dynastar joined the family from Sallanches in 1963, forged from the merger of Dynamic and Starflex and still built to the “Made in France” standard at the foot of Mont Blanc.

1948 · United States
Lange, founded in the US in 1948, brought the boot side of the story — its 1962 plastic shell was the industry's first, and its front-entry design remains the template every ski boot follows today.
Together, under one Alpine roof, they cover the mountain from foot to summit. Today, Rossignol Group brings together the ski industry's oldest continuously operating name with two of its most technically respected boot and ski specialists — a depth of in-house expertise most competitors have to buy in from third parties.
